Outback Family Shoot

September 29, 2009

While I was out west I managed to squeeze in a family shoot before driving the 11hrs home on Sunday and I’m so glad I did! Alicia contacted me to see if I could do a family shoot for them and also one of all the “kids” in the family for a special Christmas present which I thought was really sweet :-) We headed out to a local farm and got to play around with a rusty old truck and a few other typical outback things – very different to my normal family shoot on the beach. Now for some favourites -

Alicia, Russell & Georgia – so cute!

Everyone all together -

Kharnel playing in the truck

Georgia didn’t want to be left out -

Thanks for being so easy-going and willing to do the early start :-)

Nic & Damo got Married

September 28, 2009

I first met Nic when I lived “out the back of _ _ _ _ _” and when she asked if I’d be willing to shoot her wedding I jumped at the chance! There’s not much I can say about these two other then I am in awe of them!  They are such a  loving couple with 3 gorgeous children  it was an honour to be able to witness their commitment to one another. The day went off perfectly despite the threat of another dust storm and some pretty heavy winds, there were plenty of laughs, a few tears and I’m sure plenty of stories to be told for years to come! Now for some of my favourites from the day -

The first dress Nic tried on -

The happy couple -

I love their country garden :-)

One for Damo -

Thank you again for sharing your day with me! Nic you are such a beautiful woman and you made a stunning bride! All the best for many happy years.

The Parsons Family

September 21, 2009

Back to the beach for some more fun in the sun on Sunday with the Parsons Family. It was so hot even though we started at 10am – I can’t imagine what Summer is going to be like! Here are some of my faves -

I just love Finlay’s expression in this one with Veronica – so adorable!

Big Brother – Riley

Such concentration!

Brother kisses – always make me smile :-)

The ocean is so much more exciting than looking at the camera

You guys were such troopers little Finlay was soooo tired but we managed to get some gorgeous shots of everyone before Finlay just couldn’t keep her eyes open a minute longer – little cutie pie!

The Jansen Family

September 16, 2009

I was super busy this weekend I had another family shoot on Sunday this time out at Wiangaree. It made a nice change to shoot in some beautiful countryside and the Jansen’s were so easy to work with! They decided since their eldest is finishing school at the end of the year and Elka, their daughter, is getting braces soon that it was a perfect time to update the family photos.

Yay – even got the dogs looking :-)
