Canefield Fun

July 18, 2009

Today I headed out to the canefields for some fun with my 18mth old neice, a wicker chair and a bubble machine! As you can tell I’m pretty stoked with the photos I came home with and couldn’t wait to share :-)

We headed over to Sharpe’s for some variety -

Here’s something you haven’t seen from me before – an engagement shoot! As you’ve probably gathered from my site I don’t normally shoot weddings. I usually leave them up to the pros like the awesome Craig & Di from Jordan Photography not because I don’t love weddings but because I want to focus on my first passion of shooting kids and families! But sometime Craig & Di are already booked and other times I get enquiries from friends and friends of friends that I just can’t resist. That was the case with Sharon & Paul – I just couldn’t resist! So on Saturday I headed up to Brisbane for their e-shoot at New Farm Park and it was amazing! Such a gorgeous park – thank you Paul & Sharon for sharing it with me :-)

I just loved the Powerhouse! And I think the industrial look really suited these two!

Sharon has the most stunning eyes!

You guys were great to shoot – very easy-going and up for anything – thank you! Looking forward to your wedding in September!

Saturday morning I went and hung out at Sharpe’s Beach with this gorgeous Lennox family.  These two kids LOVE the beach. Anya spent most of the time collecting rocks and building sandcastles – but Dad was only allowed to help when it came to tipping the castle out of the bucket! While Alex was very protective of his ball. He had such a serious expression when we started I wasn’t sure we’d see his smile but Mum helped out with that one and he ended up chuckling for most of the session. These are just a few of my favourites -

Sneak Peek

July 5, 2009

While I was down in Sydney for the recent PMA Convention I took the opportunity to shoot some of my extended family that I don’t get to see very often.  A family of all boys!  They live in this incredible historic house that had plenty of spots to shoot. Here’s a little sneak peek -
