Green Mount

April 15, 2010

Sam contacted me a little while ago and snagged herself one of the Autumn Specials. She wanted to give her parents something special so she got her brothers together (Troy & Nathan) and her cousins (Jake & Ella) and we caught up on Sunday at Green Mount. Gorgeous day + willing participants = great shoot!

Tickle Ella!

Sunday afternoon I drove over to Casino for the first Autumn Special shoot. Cian contacted me almost as soon as I released the details on the special saying she wanted to book a session for her niece & nephew as a surprise for her sister. Of course I was more than happy to oblige. This shoot was all about the bond between Jackson & Sienna and how close they are even though they don’t live together.

Check out those lips! Angelina Jolie’s got nothing on this little cutie-patootie.

Sienna was in awe of everything around her and she wasn’t too sure what the whole grass thing was about.

It took us awhile to get Sienna to show us her gorgeous smile (I’m such a sucker for dimples) but with some coaxing and lots of crazy faces and noises in large part from Jackson we got there.

I reckon Sienna’s got herself one pretty cool big brother. I can’t think of too many 16 year olds who would let me take photos of them being crazy with their baby sister. Hope you all enjoy the sneak peek :-)

This morning I headed out to a gorgeous little spot with Crystal from the Gold Coast for this shoot. I’m stoked with the results – couldn’t wait to share :-)

Why Not?

June 9, 2009

Have a shoot just because we can! With the perfect weather on Monday I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera and a couple of friends and heading out for a bit of an impromptu shoot. Maggie came along – it’s always more fun to have a second shooter! And Shelly from the recent Twins shoot agreed to be our gorgeous model for the day.

We headed to a nearby cane field to start with -

This is one of my favourite photographs from the shoot but I just couldn’t decide which I liked better colour or b&w – what do you think?

One of Maggie’s gorgeous shots -

And then into Byron Bay for some more urban looking photos -

When you see this wall in it’s entirety it is incredible – very, very impressive!!

Thanks again Shelly for being an amazing model!!
