This past weekend I was lucky enough to catch up with the cheeky Lachlan & his Mumma at Tamarama. Last time I saw Lachlan he was just a newborn bub and now he’s almost 12mths old and he’s definitely changed!

Love the nose wrinkle!!

Such a poser :-)

It took him awhile to get used to the feel of the sand -

Won’t be long now and he’ll be walking about!

One of my favourite things about being a lifestyle photographer is being able to see and photograph kids grow up! It’s incredible how quickly they go from being a bub to a teenager! Keep an eye on the website in the next few weeks for a {Watch Me Grow Gallery}. And don’t forget to check out my {Pre Chrissy Special} for a great excuse to get some family photos done this October!

Last Sunday I was able to finally capture Nicole’s two gorgeous kiddies – Ella & Brodie. Ella is a little sweetheart who turns into a pretty princess as soon as you put a dress on her and Brodie is one of the most expressive kids I’ve ever met. Whether he’s happy or cranky his face tells it how it is.

Lately I seem to be constantly shooting kids shoes these ones are seriously cool!

“Mum, Mum, the crazy lady with the camera followed us home!”

Quick outfit change and we were back outside. Loving Ella’s beanie!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

A Morning on the Farm

May 17, 2010

Saturday morning I was lucky enough to hang out with this rather handsome little man on his farm meeting all of his friends aka as Harry, Reba & Missy Moo. Kaine had me laughing for most of the session with his stories and his “Do you remember?” – I had to keep reminding him that I hadn’t been to the farm before. He started off a little shy but once I told him that I’m a big Thomas the Tank fan he seemed to think I was pretty okay :-)

Coolest gumboots ever!

As soon as I saw this one I cracked up!

This has to be one of my all time favourite Mum & Son shots!

I could have photographed Kaine all day! And Steph you weren’t wrong when you said he remembers everything! I reckon he could have told me the name of every animal on the farm it was incredible – I’m flat out remembering where I last put my keys down.

A Child’s Laugh

March 12, 2010

Oh what a scrumptious sound! It’s infectious and utterly uplifting. Doesn’t it just transport you back to when you were a little tyke and you didn’t have a care in the world! So if you’re having a bad day or even if you’re having a good one I hope you have the chance to hear a child laugh today. And if not here’s a little series that might just do the trick anyway.

I can’t even remember what Madi was laughing at but it must have been good coz she was fairly chuckling! I don’t know about you but when I look at this series my mouth takes over and I cant help but :-)
