After having to re-schedule this shoot because of all the rain last week I woke up on Friday to gorgeous sunshine streaming through my windows. With fingers crossed that it would stay that way I went about my day. By the afternoon the sun was still shining and I headed into Byron Bay to meet up with gorgeous Nora & Christophe. Originally from the South of France these two love-birds have been calling Byron home for nearly three years  with Christophe baking up a storm at Choux Choux Patisserie in Bangalow.

We couldn’t shoot at the Lighthouse and not get a shot with it -

Couples in love & laughing – is there anything better?

I love how cheeky Nora looks in this shot!

Thank Nora & Christophe for being yourselves and awesome to shoot! Enjoy your sneak peek!

So this past weekend was definitely a bit of a love fest for me! A wedding, bump shoot and now an e-shoot! Adam & Ev are an amazing couple who I’m pretty lucky to call my friends.  As you’ll see from the sneak peek there is no shortage of laughs & love in their relationship.

The “boys” Sam (black bow tie) and Eddie (red bow tie) – looking very suave -

Anyone who knows Ev know’s how dog-crazy she is so it just wouldn’t have been right to not include the boys in the shoot. They even managed to stay clean for about 5 minutes :-)

Very excited about the wedding in Singapore! Not long to go now!

Going to the Chapel…

February 13, 2010

Tuesday this week meant perfect beach weather and an engagment shoot with Shelley & Luke. The shoot almost didn’t happen but Luke managed to get back from work with plenty of daylight still available! It was a gorgeous afternoon at North Wall and we got some absolute gems -

Picked on Luke for a little while -

Then it was Shelley’s turn. I tried a little trick on her that I use on my younger clients – yes it’s been awhile since I’ve shot adults but it worked just as well :-)

It was great meeting you both -  looking forward to the big day!

View My Portfolio I Contact Me

Here’s something you haven’t seen from me before – an engagement shoot! As you’ve probably gathered from my site I don’t normally shoot weddings. I usually leave them up to the pros like the awesome Craig & Di from Jordan Photography not because I don’t love weddings but because I want to focus on my first passion of shooting kids and families! But sometime Craig & Di are already booked and other times I get enquiries from friends and friends of friends that I just can’t resist. That was the case with Sharon & Paul – I just couldn’t resist! So on Saturday I headed up to Brisbane for their e-shoot at New Farm Park and it was amazing! Such a gorgeous park – thank you Paul & Sharon for sharing it with me :-)

I just loved the Powerhouse! And I think the industrial look really suited these two!

Sharon has the most stunning eyes!

You guys were great to shoot – very easy-going and up for anything – thank you! Looking forward to your wedding in September!
